- Nand Kishore Yadav Sworn in as Nagaland Governor: The senior leader has taken the oath as the 23rd Governor of Nagaland. He succeeds La. Ganesan, whose term ended recently. Yadav previously served as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
- Kavach 4.0 Successfully Implemented: The indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system, Kavach 4.0, has been successfully deployed on the Delhi–Mumbai and Delhi–Howrah railway corridors. The system uses radio frequency to prevent collisions by automatically applying brakes if a threat is detected.
