- 98th Oscar Awards 2026: The ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The film 'One Battle After Another' was the big winner, securing 6 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson). The film 'Sinners' received the most nominations (16) but won 4 awards.
- BCCI Annual Awards 2026: Shubman Gill won the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for his 2025 performance. Smriti Mandhana was named Best International Cricketer (Women).
